On the Issues

Protecting what makes Cabarrus County great — and planning for the future with common sense, not more government.

I’m running for County Commissioner to protect your tax dollars, make your voice heard, and manage our growth with common sense. I’m not a career politician — I’m a doer who delivers results and believes in practical, accountable leadership.

TAXES

Protecting your hard-earned dollars.

Families have to live within a budget — and so should government. As your Commissioner, I will:

  • Fight to keep property taxes low while maintaining essential services.
  • Demand transparency and accountability in county budgeting and spending.
  • Oppose unnecessary tax increases that burden working families and seniors.

EDUCATION

Investing in the future for a better tomorrow.

Every child deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success. As your Commissioner, I will:

  • Prioritize responsible investment in public schools to strengthen academic achievement.

  • Expand workforce readiness programs that connect students to real-world opportunities.

  • Build partnerships with local businesses and colleges to create more pathways to success.

GROWTH

Smart growth that protects our quality of life.

Growth must be managed wisely to preserve what we love about our community. As your Commissioner, I will:

  • Ensure development pays its fair share for roads, schools, and essential services.

  • Protect farmland and green spaces that define our county’s character.

  • Plan infrastructure improvements ahead of growth — not after

Cabarrus County is growing fast — but the way we manage that growth will define our future. Without a real plan, we risk overcrowded schools, traffic congestion, and overburdened services. I’ve outlined a practical, community-focused Growth Plan that prioritizes what matters most.
